The headliner for the evening is Logan Springer & The Wonderfully Wild, with Jake Stack & The Cat Eyes supporting. Logan Springer & The Wonderfully Wild, originating from the Iowa-Illinois Quad Cities, deliver gritty heartland rock infused with rustbelt soul. Their music features roaring guitars, engaging country storytelling, and raw reflections of Midwestern life. Their sound has been likened to a blend of Isbell and Petty, with a touch of Neil Young. Their lyrics capture the essence of bitter winters, hard times, and the spirit of escape, drawing inspiration from John Prine and Steinbeck, appealing to dreamers and the working class. They prioritize authenticity over commercial success, blending classic rock, outlaw country, and modern Americana in a way that feels genuine and real. Jake Stack is a dynamic singer-songwriter whose life experiences shape his music. He began his journey in a punk rock garage band while pursuing a hockey career. After transitioning from the rink to music, Jake committed to songwriting, infusing his work with his life experiences and emotions. He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and philosophy, which influences his songwriting. Known for his engaging performances, Jake blends punk, folk, and indie rock in his original compositions. Besides performing, he teaches guitar and offers hockey coaching, and he openly discusses his struggles with mental health and alcohol use in hopes of inspiring others to prioritize their mental well-being.
