RILEY DOWNING w/NORA KENNY

Lineup

About this event

Join us for a live performance by Riley Downing, featuring the very special guest Nora Kenny! Riley Downing, a gifted singer-songwriter, has spent years gathering stories about everyday life and the often-overlooked individuals within it. His latest album, Landfill Poetry, marks his debut with Oh Boy Records and showcases his unique ability to tell tales of forgotten truths and fading memories. Hailing from a small town in Missouri, Downing transitioned from working as a backroad trashman to becoming a notable figure in the music scene, previously co-founding the Americana band The Deslondes in New Orleans. In Landfill Poetry, he transports listeners through vivid imagery, from the back of a trash truck in the title track to the solitude of night shifts and the quiet reflections after a long day. His songs resonate with those who burn the midnight oil and the generations that remember the hard-earned wisdom of their ancestors. Catch Riley Downing on at. Tickets are priced at. This event is for ages 21 and over.
