About this event

Join us for a live performance by DEAD GOWNS, featuring special guests SLEEPER'S BELL! **ABOUT DEAD GOWNS:** Geneviève Beaudoin, the talented songwriter from Portland, Maine, shares the poignant story behind her music. After traveling to Las Vegas to assist a friend in starting anew, she faced an unexpected ending to their friendship, revealing deep emotional fractures. While we often prepare for heartbreak in romantic relationships, the pain of losing a close friendship can be just as profound, impacting our sense of belonging. Feeling vulnerable and inspired, Beaudoin recognized that she needed to create songs that spoke to her experiences. Back in Maine, she began developing her second album as Dead Gowns. The album "Vegas" features a collection of raw and evocative tracks that explore themes of grief, memory, and identity. Each song intertwines the past with the present, creating a rich tapestry of emotions that resonate deeply.
