About this event

Join us for a live performance by MAGGIE KOERNER, featuring very special guests! **ABOUT MAGGIE KOERNER:** After earning her bachelor's degree in psychology, Maggie Koerner was discovered by Brady Blade, known for his work with Emmylou Harris and the Dave Matthews Band, who produced her debut album, Quarter Life, released in 2011. Following its launch, she relocated to New Orleans on the advice of musician David Shaw from The Revivalists. In New Orleans, Koerner quickly penned another album, Neutral Ground, which she self-produced in 2013. During this period, she became the front-woman for Galactic, where she gained international recognition for her dynamic performances while touring with Widespread Panic, Charles Bradley, and Dr. John. Her songwriting and vocals are featured on Galactic's albums Carnivale Electricos and Into The Deep, both including singles she co-wrote with Shaw, "Hey Na Na" and "Dolla Diva." In 2015, Koerner departed from Galactic to concentrate on her solo music, leading to performances at major festivals such as the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Austin City Limits, and Pemberton Music Festival. She's also toured with notable artists including The Revivalists, Band of Horses, Marcus King, The Head & The Heart, Shakey Graves, Tank & the Bangas, Warren Haynes, and Gov’t Mule.
